A well-designed infographic is a beautiful thing. Whether it’s visualizing a large amount of data or simply presenting information in a visual context, there’s no denying our brains love information design. In the hands of the right designer, an infographic can turn into a real work of art. As cofounder of Column Five, a content marketing agency that specializes in infographics and data visualization, I’ve seen countless infographics—some stunning, some cringeworthy—over the years. But no matter how many I see, there are always some that stand out above the rest. From the most simple graphic to the most complex data visualization, I’m perpetually impressed by the creativity of talented designers, agencies and brands, worldwide who do good work.
